Bamboo Bedding FAQs
Q: Why choose bamboo bedding?
A: Our mission is to bring the undiscovered softness of bamboo bedding to the UK, because we believe it’s the best bedding option out there.

Q: Why is the thread count in bamboo bedding lower?
A: Thread count refers to the number of threads woven into one square inch of fabric. Simply put, materials that are tougher will typically need a higher thread count to feel soft.
Unlike cotton, bamboo bedding does not need a high thread count to feel soft. This is due to the longer, smoother and finer fibres, along with the use of sateen weaves, to create a luxuriously silky feel. This means that bamboo bedding with a thread count of 320 has the same softness as cotton bedding with 1000+ thread count.
Q: Why is bamboo bedding more expensive than cotton?
A: There are two main reasons our bamboo bedding is more expensive than the average cotton bedding. Firstly, our bamboo bedding is made of our natural, organically grown bamboo, meaning we aren’t mass-farming or chemically growing our materials to keep the costs down. Secondly, bamboo fibres are extremely fine, making the process of turning this material into bedding much more complicated and costly than other materials, but this also means the end results are much softer and more durable, making it a worthy investment.
Q: Are any harmful chemicals used to produce bamboo bedding?
A: All of our suppliers are OKEO-TEX Standard 100 certified, meaning they are globally recognised as being free from a wide range of chemicals, including those banned or regulated by law, as well as substances known to be harmful to health.
Q: How do I wash my bamboo bedding?
A: Because the fibres of bamboo bedding are so fine, a hand-wash or cold, delicate machine wash should be used. Our products are also organically produced so we do not recommend using bleaches or harsh chemicals when washing. Tumble-drying should not be used on this fast-drying material, simply hang-dry.
If these instructions are followed, your bamboo bedding will get softer with each wash!
Q: How long will delivery take?
A: Deliveries can typically take up to 5 working days but in some cases it may take longer. We use a third-party company to handle all our deliveries but if any problems occur, we’ll do our best to make it hassle-free for you.
